Muana (Haryana) [India], September 30 (ANI) : Participating in a rally in poll bound Haryana on Monday , Uttarkahand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that under the BJP rule , the state has witnessed unprecedented exponential growth in every field and urged the people to cast their votes in favour of the BJP.
He was addressing a public gathering as part of his campaign for BJP candidate Ram Kumar Gautam.
“Prime minister Narendra Modi has designated Gautam in the service of the people. Under BJP’s ten-year rule at the Centre, the picture of the country and Haryana has changed for good. Along with the country, Haryana has also progressed in the field of development. Haryana is touching new heights socially and economically. Haryana has moved forward strongly in every field including roads, health, drinking water, infrastructure. Forty new national highways have been constructed in Haryana, new national highways and a network of roads has been laid to every village,” Dhami said.
Further highlighting the government’s achievements, the Chief Minister said, “Four national highways have been built in this assembly. Ayushman cards of one crore 19 lakh people have been made in the state. Now there are 15 medical colleges in Haryana, up from seven earlier. Free gas connections were given to 24 lakh poor families.50 lakh youths of the state have been given government jobs. 5.50 lakh students have been given free tablets. Compensation of Rs. 12500 crores have been given to farmers for the loss of crops. Pure drinking water is being delivered to every house, Prime Minister Modi started the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ campaign from this land.”
Slamming the Congress Dhami accused the party of being steeped in corruption
“The Congress candidates claim that if their government is formed in Haryana, they will first give jobs to their family members. The Congress wants to start the game of cut commission and corruption in Haryana. In the Congress government’s rule, the land of the poor was snatched and given to the big leaders of the party. Congress wants the rule of brokerage again,” he said.
“Now the game of transfer and posting has been abolished in Haryana. The BJP has adopted transparency by stopping the system of parchi kharchi” in Haryana”, Dhami added.
Earlier, Chief Minister Nayab Saini rubbished reports of infighting in BJP and said he is confident of winning the polls and forming the government for the third consecutive term as there are no takers for the Congress’ “jhooth ki dukan”.
Legislative assembly elections are scheduled to be held in the state on 5 October to elect all 90 members of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. The results will be declared on October 8. (ANI)
