New Delhi [India], October 2 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta noted that “righteousness will triumph” in Delhi and “Ravana will be destroyed” as the country gears up for the Dussehra festival and extended greetings to all the residents of the city on the occasion.
Speaking to the reporters, Delhi CM said that the Luv Kush Ramlila is “one of the biggest” Ramlilas in Delhi. “It is held at the Red Fort, and millions of spectators come here every year to witness the portrayal of Lord Rama. This Ramlila is a symbol of divinity and grandeur. I am delighted to be here. My heartfelt greetings to all the residents of Delhi on Vijayadashami”
“Tomorrow, righteousness will triumph in Delhi, truth will triumph, and Ravana will be destroyed…”
Earlier in the day, CM Rekha Gupta participated in the grand Ramleela organised by the Lav-Kush Ramleela Committee.
In a post on X, CM Rekha Gupta said ” From Ayodhya to Delhi, this tradition of the Ramakatha is connected to the soul of our nation”

Member of Parliament, Chandni Chowk, Praveen Khandelwal was present among others.
Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashami, is one of the most significant Hindu festivals in India and it will be celebrated on October 2 this year. It marks the victory of good over evil and is celebrated in diverse ways across the country.
It commemorates Lord Rama’s victory over the demon king Ravana, symbolizing the triumph of truth and righteousness over arrogance and evil. Effigy burning of Ravana, Meghnad, and Kumbhkaran is a popular tradition in many parts of India.
The festival also inspires people to conquer their inner evils like anger, greed, pride, and jealousy, and to uphold the values of truth, virtue, and righteousness.
