Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) [India], August 10 (ANI): A group of women tie Raksha Bandhan to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav at Gwalior Airport on Saturday.

On the occasion, CM Yadav presented sweets and sarees as a return gift to women on tying Rakhi. He arrived here to participate in a program after attending a program in the neighbouring Sheopur district.
“Today, I transferred Rs 1250 under the Ladli Behna Yojana and Rs 250 as ‘Shagun’ for Raksha Bandhan to the bank accounts of around 1.29 crores women through a single click during the program in Sheopur. The Sawan month is immersed in the festival of Raksha Bandhan. I wish that the love of sisters remains the same throughout life,” CM Yadav told reporters.
He also said that the state government was continuously working towards women empowerment.
“Our government is continuously working towards women empowerment. We are also going to bring more new schemes in the coming time,” he added.
Meanwhile, CM further spoke about the upcoming Regional Industry Conclave which would be held in Gwalior on August 28 saying efforts would be made to bring employment oriented industries in the area.
“Regional Industry Conclave is going to be held in Gwalior on August 28, in which along with development works in all the districts of Gwalior region, work will be done to bring employment oriented industries. Several proposals have been received from the recent ‘Interactive Session on Investment Opportunity in MP’ held in Bengaluru. After Gwalior, similar regional industry conclaves will be organised in Sagar division, then Rewa division to increase employment industry,” CM said.
In the progress of any state, industries are needed and there is a diverse field of industry. There is satisfaction that the state is making efforts in all the sectors right from self help groups to small groups of industries, cottage industry, MSME, heavy industry and the expected results are also being achieved, he added.
“In the coming times, it will be a solid step towards increasing the economy. For the Gwalior Regional Industry Conclave, I invite all our investors and industrialists who are running industries to work on expanding their units and those who want to do another business, such investors should come forward. My effort will be to promote local investors and industrialists, they will be given priority in work. Apart from that we will also welcome people coming from outside,” he said.
There is a lot of enthusiasm about the regional industry conclave in the entire region, CM added. (ANI)
