Prajyagra (Uttar Pradesh) [India], January 10 (ANI): Poet Kumar Vishwas concluded his three-day program, ‘Apne Apne Ram’ on Thursday, ahead of the Maha Kumbh 2025, garnering high praises from various guests who attended the event.
Praising the Kumbh while speaking to ANI, Vishwas urged people, especially the younger generation, to participate in large numbers in the Maha Kumbh.
“Mahakumbh is a very historic, prosperous festival. It is not just a religious festival. I urge the youth to participate in the Mahakumbh in large numbers…Today people came in large numbers just to listen to the name of Lord Ram,” he told ANI.
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Chairman of Prasar Bharati Board Navneet Sehgal, and former Mayor of Prayagraj Abhilasha Gupta were also present at the program.
Abhilasha Gupta shared her experience with ANI, describing how the crowd grew significantly after seeing the success of the first day.
“Before people were apprehensive about going inside, and how the program would be on the first day, but on the second day people put their faith in Ram after seeing the first,” she said
“The magic of Kumar Vishwas was seen, nobody could stop themselves and we had to close the gates even when we didn’t want to, and we wanted to make sure that no one was untouched by the name of Ram and then the crowd was in control. Everyone wants to hear the story of Ram, and how well Kumar Vishwas narrates it, it is heart touching,” she added.
UP Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak also congratulated the poet for helping people reconnect with the essence of Ram and Sanatan Dharma.
“It was amazing, I congratulate Kumar Vishwas. He helped us remember Ram and Krishna and also helped us remember Sanatan Dharma. It was great,” he told ANI.
Prasar Bharati Board Chairman Navneet Sehgal praised the ‘Apne Apne Ram’ program by poet Kumar Vishwas, which concluded on Thursday, highlighting that the start of the Maha Kumbh with the name of Lord Ram was a great thing and as well as auspicious.
“It is this time’s biggest Kumbh, it is a grand festival of Sanatan, and the start of it happened with the name of Lord Ram, this is a great start and it’s a great show,” Sehgal told ANI.
