PM Modi visited Adi Kailash on October 12, 2023, where he paid obeisance to Adi Kailash at his holy abode Parvatikund, mingled with locals, and interacted with Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel too.
CM Dhami had posted a video of PM Modi praying at Adi Kailash, along with people praising the facilities available for tourists in the region. After paying obeisance to Adi Kailash, PM Modi mingled with locals and took the blessings of the elderly at the Gunji village in the Pithoragarh district. Taking time out of a packed schedule on a day-long visit to ‘Devbhoomi’, PM Modi also interacted with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel deployed at the frontiers. After performing a prayer at Parvati Kund in Pithoragarh, PM Modi proceeded to Gunji village, which is situated at an altitude of 11,000 metres above Pithoragarh.
