Hisar (Haryana) [India], October 5 (ANI): Kuldeep Bishnoi, the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), spoke to ANI on Saturday at a polling station after casting his vote. He stated that the people will vote in favour of the BJP because the party has done significant development work in the state.
“The BJP will form the government with a full majority for the third time. There is a good atmosphere in favour of the BJP…The Congress candidate fielded here is an outsider…Bhavya Bishnoi (his son and BJP candidate from Adampur seat) has done good work here; people see a glimpse of (former Haryana chief minister) Bhajan Lal in him, he said.
Kuldeep Bishnloi’s son Bhavya Bishnoi, the BJP candidate from the Adampur Assembly constituency, is optimistic about his chances of winning the election.
He said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the people of Adampur that they gave me the biggest fortune of my life by blessing me 1.5 years ago and in these years, I have tried to serve this area with full dedication. Development work worth Rs 800 crore is going on. I would like to complete the incomplete work related to the canals…I would also like to implement 2 to 3 big projects related to the sports department and the health department…The people of Adampur will win this election. There is no competition with anyone.
“I am not saying this with overconfidence; I am saying this with confidence because we have worked with full dedication in the last 1.5 years,” he added.
BJP leader Kuldeep Bishnoi, his son and his wife showed the victory sign after casting their vote.
According to Haryana’s Chief Electoral Officer, Pankaj Agarwal, 2,03,54,350 voters, including 1,07,75,957 males, 95,77,926 females, and 467 third-gender voters, will cast their votes in the Assembly Elections on October 5.
A total of 1,031 candidates are contesting across 90 constituencies, and 20,632 polling booths have been set up for the election. The Chief Electoral Officer highlighted that a total of 29,462 police personnel, 21,196 home guards, and 10,403 Special Police Officers (SPO) have been deployed across the state. Strict surveillance will be maintained at every corner of the state to allow citizens to cast their votes without fear. (ANI)
